Issue Summary
New addon installation may fail on a site with annual payment if there are other paid add-ons in suspended status.
Steps to Reproduce
- As a prerequisite, there should be a previous paid app in suspended status pending payment. The products should be in annual payment.
- Install a new paid app.
- The app will get installed and get uninstalled with no error message in the browser. The below message will be shown in the application logs.
message: Embedded license change task has timed out, upm.plugin.error.timeout.license.change
Expected Results
The app installation should either proceed or at least indicate that there are issues with the payment and this is required in order to proceed with new free trials.
Actual Results
The new app will get installed and then will get uninstalled immediately. This can be seen from the app audit logs in the application.
Workaround
Please contact the billing team to complete the payment and reinstall the new app.

The fix will introduce a new error message for the users which will occur if the user's instance has some issue with the license status of the App / site or the instance (jira/confluence) which looks like the screenshot below.
