Posting a status using the Status API does not update status in the UI

Issue Summary

Posting a status using the Status API does not update status in the UI

Steps to Reproduce

1. Post status message using the instructions on the docs page and this thread.
2. Receive HTTP 200 OK responses
3. Wait a few hours

Expected Results

• Status displays in UI on the Progress Reporting page

Actual Results

• Status still shows "READY"

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
