Description
Problem Definition
The new Atlassian App Migration Platform (currently under development) will enable all Atlassian Marketplace Partners apps to build automated migration paths for their apps.
Suggested Solution
When a customer migrates projects from Confluence Server / Data Centre to Confluence Cloud using the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant, the app migration platform will coordinate with ServiceRocket to automatically move Connector for Salesforce & Confluence Server data associated with the migrated projects.
Current Status
While a Cloud equivalent app is available on the marketplace (Connector for Salesforce & Confluence Cloud), there is no migration path available.
ServiceRocket team is currently collecting the requirements from the existing Server & Data Center customers for the migration functionality.
Workaround
While it is possible to migrate manually, which takes time and may be subject to data loss. Please reach out to our support team if you urgently need to migrate to the Cloud.
