Issue Summary

• The field values are not Migrated to the Cloud site when the Custom field is Hidden in the Field Configuration.
• Migrated with Jira Cloud Migration assistant

Steps to Reproduce

On Server

• Created a text field ( not
  hidden)
• Create a project on Server
• Add the Custom field to the required screen of the project.
• Create issues and add data to the created Custom field.
• Now set the field to hidden in the project Field Configuration.
• The data field is hidden on the Jira issues on Server. But DataBase still holds the custom field value of the issue.

Migration to Cloud

• The Migrated Jira issue doesn't have a field visible ( because it is hidden, expected)
• Set the field to show on the project field Configuration.
• The values don't come back on Jira Cloud.
• Checked the Database, the field doesn't hold the value for the issue.

Expected Results

The field value has to be migrated even when the field is Hidden

Actual Results

The Field is migrated but not the values.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
