The App Assessment table uses the macro usage macro to populate usage data in the "Appears on" and "Viewed by" columns. Apps that do not use macros appear to have "not applicable" usage. This could be misleading when performing an app assessment and using data displayed in those columns to understand app usage.

Workaround

Marketplace Partners may be able to advise on how to assess app usage for non-macro based apps.

For example: With Comala Document Management it is possible to query the Confluence Database to get the number of spaces/ pages with workflows enabled using this CQL Query: “cql=awphasworkflow+%3D+%22true%22”
