Enable direct download of post-migration ID mapping files via HCMA/Admin hubLiberty UI

      Problem Statement

Currently, post-migration ID mapping files for Jira migrations are not downloadable directly through the HCMA Liberty interface. This creates a significant operational gap for migrators who routinely need these mappings for post-migration validation, issue linking, and customer troubleshooting.

      Current Workaround

To obtain the ID mapping, migrator must follow a multi-step process through a restricted environment, which typically involves:

      1. Accessing a restricted/internal environment (requires elevated permissions)
      2. Navigating to the relevant migration job/run
      3. Manually locating and extracting the mapping file
      4. Transferring or sharing the file to the ticket

This process is time-consuming for large instances, creates a dependency on engineers with restricted access, and introduces risk of delays — particularly during time-sensitive post-migration windows (e.g., cutover validation, customer escalations).

      Proposed Solution

Add a "Download ID Mapping" button or option within the HCMA Liberty migration job UI, accessible to authorized MSEs directly after a migration run completes. The download should:

      • Be available on the migration job detail/results page
      • Provide the full post-migration ID mapping file (e.g., CSV or JSON format)
      • Require only standard HCMA Liberty access (no restricted environment needed)
      • Be available for a reasonable retention period post-migration (e.g., 14 days)

      Impact

      • Reduces migrator dependency on restricted environments and engineering escalations
      • Speeds up post-migration validation and issue resolution
      • Reduces cutover risk by enabling faster triage of ID-related discrepancies
      • Improves self-serve capability for the Migrations Support team
