Problem Statement:
When migrating Confluence content via CCMA, all page versions (full history) are included by default. There is currently no option to migrate only the current (latest) version of pages.
Use Case:
Customers often do not need the full version history of pages in the destination instance. Migrating all versions:
- Significantly increases migration duration
- Consumes unnecessary storage on the destination site
- Adds complexity when the goal is simply to move the current state of content
Proposed Solution:
Add a user-facing option during migration configuration that allows administrators to select "Current version only" for page migration. When enabled:
- Only the latest published version of each page is migrated
- All previous versions are excluded from the migration payload
