Issue Summary

When the admin creates a new sandbox and tries to copy data from the prod site to the sandbox, it creates a group conflict.

This issue is only affecting Orgs in Original user management

Steps to Reproduce

1. Sync some groups from IDP to Atlassian
2. Check the groups in the production site when synced
3. Created a sandbox site
4. After creating the sandbox site, trigger "Copy data from production"
5. Check the IDP sync page

Expected Results

In this case, "Copy data from production" should copy the group along with the group properties (synced/read-only group) and not cause a group conflict.

Actual Results

• There will be group conflicts that need to be resolved

Workaround

• Resolve the group conflict using the steps mentioned in this link
• If you have a large number of group conflicts, contact Atlassian Support
  • You can also contact Atlassian Support before initiating the copy on any new sandbox. This will ensure the Support team is aware of the potential impact and can work with you to resolve any large conflicts immediately.
