JCMA user assess to detect duplicate email address in BASIC mode

      User Problem

      JCMA user assessment using BASIC(SIMPLE) method do not cross check user and JSM customers to validate duplicate email address.

      Steps to reproduce

      • Create Agent and JSM customer with same email address
        Username Email address Type/role
        user1 test@example.com JSM customer
        user2 test@example.com JSM agent with product access
      • Go to (JCMA Migration dash board -> Assess and prepare your users -> Next -> Fix or Customize user -> select SIMPLE) Duplicate email address "test@example.com" will not be listed)

      Suggested Solutions

      • Implement a cross-check validation to identify duplicate email address in BASIC mode for both user(Agent) and JSM(customers)

      Current Workarounds

      To identify the duplicate email address used by user(Agent) and JSM(customers)  please use https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/customize-your-users-in-advanced-experience/ to download CSV file containing all the duplicate emails.
