Description:
Currently, the Bitbucket Migration Assistant lacks a mechanism to download a list of users selected for migration. This presents a challenge for users who need to verify the user count against their license limits.
Problem:
- There is currently no way to download the selected user for migration or users involved in PR during the Pre-flight checks.
- The current process relies on external resources like the knowledge base article How do I find which users count against my Bitbucket Server license?
- This method involves checking the database or employing other cumbersome techniques to determine the exact user count.
- Check the screen recording: Screen Recording 2024-07-05 at 11.56.35 AM.mov

- Difficulty arises when selecting specific migration options like "migrate users involved in PR" for specific repositories. Identifying such users becomes a manual and time-consuming process.
Suggested Improvement:
We propose the following improvement to the Bitbucket Migration Assistant:
- Downloadable User List: Allow users to download a CSV file containing a list of users included in the migration.
- Benefits:
- Users can easily verify the user count against their license limits and check the users involved in PR or licensing.
- If the user count exceeds the limit, the list allows for adjustments to user selection before migration.
- This feature streamlines the migration process and saves users valuable time.
Additional Notes:
- The CSV file should ideally include relevant user information such as username, email address, and any other relevant details for user management purposes.
- This feature would be beneficial for all Bitbucket Migration Assistant users, especially those migrating large user bases or using selective migration options.
