Issue Summary
Our Link Fixing Tooling will recognize display links as follows:
https://<SITE NAME>/display/~ca25846/<PAGE NAME>
The ‘Tilde’ character following /display/ is expected for personal spaces and was addressed by the initial run of the Link Fixing tooling.
However, Links with an unexpected character in the PageID, such as the example below with the apparent Hex Value of "~", will not be fixed:
https://<SITE NAME>/display/%7Eca25846/<PAGE NAME>
Steps to Reproduce
- Migrate from DC > Cloud
- Run LMS
- Display Links with expected characters are updated without issues
- Display Links with unexpected characters will not be updated
Expected Results
LMS should handle this more gracefully by updating and Display Links with the "https://<SITE NAME>/Display" format
Actual Results
These links remain broken following the Link Fixing tool being run.
Workaround
Contact Atlassian Migrations Support in order to perform the Legacy Link Fixing process as this will address the display links with unexpected characters.
