Summary

Currently, PowerPoint Presenter View is not supported when recording PowerPoint presentations with Loom. If a user has Presenter View enabled, their speaker notes can appear in the recorded video because Loom records everything visible on the captured screen.

User Problem

Customer impact is increased for users with longer scripts/notes (exceeding 10,000 characters), where Loom’s built-in speaker notes cannot replace Presenter View.

Suggested Solutions

• The presenter can still see their speaker notes during the presentation, and

• Speaker notes / Presenter View UI are excluded from the final recording.
