Issue Summary
Users are reporting that their desktop app recordings on mac are failing. When Support reviews the logs, we see that this is related to the MacOS SCK (Screen Capture Kit) causing the video to hang and that makes the Loom recording crash.
Steps to Reproduce
Unable to get a consistent reproduction for this issue.
Expected Results
Recordings would work in conjunction with SCK.
Actual Results
Sometimes the SCK causes the recordings to fail.
Workaround
Disable the SCK from your Desktop app settings:
- Go to More
- Settings
- Video & audio
- Enable SCK screen capture
- Toggle this to OFF position.
