Summary

Currently, Loom’s search bar queries the entire video library and does not support filtering results by folder location. Users who rely on folders for organization are unable to quickly find videos with specific keywords or tags within a chosen folder. Adding the ability to search within a specific folder would greatly improve content discoverability and workflow efficiency for users who manage large video libraries.

While users can organize videos into folders and search their Loom library by name, tag, or transcript phrase, there is no way to limit a search to the contents of a single folder. This makes it difficult for users who organize their content into folders to efficiently locate specific videos using keywords or tags within a particular folder.
