Summary:
Enterprise admins would love more flexibility in managing AI-powered features within Loom. Specifically, it would be super helpful to have the ability to enable or disable individual AI features—like auto-title—rather than toggling all AI functionality on or off for the entire workspace.
Currently, this can be done on an individual level, but not on the whole Workspace.
Background & Problem:
Right now, AI settings in Loom are pretty broad. If an admin wants to turn off a single AI feature (like auto-title), they have to disable all AI features, which isn’t ideal. Some teams want to keep certain AI tools (like summaries or transcripts) but turn off others that might not fit their workflow or compliance needs.
Proposed Solution:
It would be awesome if Enterprise admins could manage AI features individually. For example, having separate toggles for:
- Auto-title
- AI summaries
- AI-powered transcripts
- Any other AI-driven enhancements
This way, admins can tailor the Loom experience to their team’s needs and compliance requirements, without losing access to helpful AI features they still want to use.
Benefits:
- Gives admins more control and flexibility
- Helps teams stay compliant with internal policies
- Improves user experience by letting teams use only the AI features that work for them
Example Use Case:
A financial services company wants to keep AI summaries for quick recaps but needs to turn off auto-title to comply with internal naming conventions.
Request:
Could we explore adding more granular AI controls for Enterprise admins, so they can enable or disable specific AI features (like auto-title) independently?
