Issue Summary

When editing the Category field in the Jira Work Management List view, users are blocked from adding more than 100 category options. The following error is displayed:

"You can't add more than 100 field options"

This limit cannot be overridden by project or site administrators.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Step 1: Open a Jira (Business) project
2. Step 2:  Go to List view
3. Step 3: Click the Category column header → Ellipsis (•••) → Edit field
4. Step 4: ** Attempt to add a new option when 100 or more options already exist

Expected Results

Users can add category options beyond 100.

Actual Results

You can't add more than 100 field options" 

Users who rely on a large number of category options to organise their work are blocked from adding new categories, disrupting their workflow.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available
