      Issue Summary

      It looks like filtering boards by category is not working. It shows the filter is applied, but the board does not change at all

      Steps to Reproduce

      Open any JWM team-managed project and try to filter the issue on the basis of Kategoria field, you will find all the issues are visible it is not considering any value selected under Kategoria field


       
      it's only broken if: *

        • on board view
        • filtering by category field
        • and the category field is not spelled Category

      Expected Results

      Ideally, it should filter the results despite any default language it can be either Category and Kategoria

            Why does this task have such a low priority? It's impossible to use the board with such a bug. Please raise the priority.

            This bug applies to company-managed projects too and makes the JWM project board useless

            It has passed several months since this bug was created and international users still cannot filter on the main Jira Work Management board by categories. It is really needed by many users.

            I just tested it and we still have the same issue.

            We have the same issue. I don't know why this happens but this should be a standard functionality and should not result in any problems.

            I would like to add that we use default polish translation and locale, so Category field is automatically translated to "Kategoria". It is not any custom setting.
