Move dependent issues when main issue is moved in calendar/timeline view

      Problem Description

When changing the dates for an issue on calendar/timeline, dependent issues are not moved. This causes teams to need to do extra work to move all related issues when an issue slips.

      Suggested Resolution

There is similar feature to the one that already exists in Advanced Roadmaps:
      https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/edit-multiple-issues-in-bulk-on-your-timeline/

Something similar this feature would be great in Jira Work management projects

      Why this is important?

The ability to slide multiple issues at once would make it easier to reschedule issues that affect the whole schedule

            Hi 99b354671bde,

When I read the description, the ask is to have an easy way to shift all the dependent issues when the upper stream issue shifted. The dependent issues might not always coming from the same epic, hence "do extra work to move all related issues".

Can I double check if this is the case and this is coming from business project timeline?

This is a good feature to have. One suggestion is, to have a prompt whenever an epic shifted it's dates, the prompt will show all the affected dates and present a choice whether we will adjust the dates of the affected dependencies or not.
