      Currently in Jira Work Management projects, you are only able to use the Start Date/Due Date system field and that will then display it on the Calendar view. 

      Would be nice to be able to use a custom date field and have that custom field used for the issue's date that is shown on the calendar view.

            Additionally, in Plans, you can have warnings that react to both Target End and Due Date, so it seems there is validity elsewhere in the tool in allowing scheduling views to react to different dates.

            Even if we could just select Start OR Due to avoid the large grey clutter as it spans from one to the other.
