Due date is a very commonly used field to filter. Many teams want to see things "due next week", "due by the end of the quarter", etc. Business users who have no tech skills have a hard time using issue view.
Currently you must enter a Start Date / Due Date range. Many times our teams don't have values in start date, or if they do - they only want to see a range of when issues are due regardless of when they start.
