On your marketing site you talk about Jira workmanagement being for teams. For instance sales, marketing, legal. But when I want to create a project for our marketing team it gives me a lot of different project templates. These seem fine for huge companies that have different teams for content management, campaign management, event management etc.
But in our smaller company we have 1 team that does all these activities. So in our case it would make sense if I could create 1 marketing team project and add the different workflows to this 1 project. Like I can add workflows for incidentmanagement to a Jira Servicemanagement project by toggling on the feature.
Also we see an inconsistency in the issuetypes used in Jira workmanagement. f.i. in the sales funnel template a Customer issuetype is created with it's own workflow and several screens are customised for it. Which is really great! But in some other project templates task and subtask is used. Like the Campaign management template.
I guess it's coming down to the fact that we have come to using 1 project per team so they don't have to follow multiple boards. Our customer projects go through the backlog of the teams but they don't have their own backlog anymore but can have their own plan.
This team centric way of working with Jira projects is the reason why we would need to be able to add extra workflows to a project instead of having multiple projects for a team.
Hope this helps.
