When wanting to split a ticket in backlog, comments in the active ticket are not carried across.

 

Valuable information can be in comments and its preservation across the split should be preserved.

 

A work around is to clone++ the ticket and close the current which is timley when doing at scale and cant be done via the backlog in Sprint planning
