Summary: 

Currently, we do not have the ability to edit Jira Work Management projects to add custom fields on the cards while displaying the board. This could be because of not having card layout settings as such. Having an option to add the custom fields in the board display of cards will help business users to present across their clients or management serving the purpose of sharing information through boards.
