Description
Issue Summary
When disabling Issue Linking, dependencies are not removed from Timeline and when a user tries to unlink issues, it just blinks and the dependency shows again with no indication of what is causing the issue.
On Jira Software, the dependencies disappear from the Roadmap.
Steps to Reproduce
- Link issues on the Timeline.
- Disable Issue Linking (Cog icon > Issues > Issue Linking).
Expected Results
The dependencies are removed from the Timeline since the feature is disabled.
Actual Results
The dependencies are still visible on the Timeline (even though it doesn’t show on the ticket itself) and when trying to remove them, it disappears and appears again.
Nothing is shown on developer tools.
On Splunk it points to the error:
Error performing JWMUnlinkItemsMutation mutation. Operation: gira-jbus-RemoveJWMDependencyTimelineView, Errors: Issue linking is currently disabled.
Workaround
Enable issue linking, remove all the dependencies and disable it again.
