Make JIRA Software notifications less noisy

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      We are using agile boards for planning customer projects. We want our customer to get notifications about effective changes to the task, but with every sprint they get tons of mails about changes of the sprint and the rank field. That is very annoying. We would really appreciate a possibility to suppress notifications for these

      1) special fields
      2) or during planning (like the checkbox you can use while changing multiple issues)
      3) or GH at all

      any of these solutions would be fine.

            Yes. Ranking changes clutter mail boxes, history and activity fields.

            +1, We would really enjoy this feature: rank notifications and activity updates for every changes in the backlog are way too noisy and make activity stream and notifications unusable
