    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

It would be handy to be able to define the list of options available in GreenHooper's right-click menu (both in Plan and Work modes), preferably for every Board separately.

      Example use cases:

      • assign issues to Sprints in a bulk (when board filter doesn't use ranking)
      • bulk edit issues
      • create sub-tasks
      • transition issues through workflow

ecf6a91fd911  Is it possible to hide an option (say Archive or Delete) from the Board context menu ?

This issue is more than 10 years old and it is still missing and a big bummer for every app developer.

Would be awesome to be able to right-click on an issue in the backlog view and trigger a manual automation. That way you can make any custom action a quick action!

hey @Greg - yes, you need to use that specific built-in option, because Jira has no web item location for the board context menu (as far as I remember). Docs are at: https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4js/latest/features/script-fragments/built-in-fragments/board-context-menu-item

Give us a shout at https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/2 if you have any problems.

            cheers!

@Jamie (or anyone else), I've turned on script runner's web fragment locator but I can't see any fragments in the right-click context menus in the backlog or active sprint views when I right click on stories or sub-tasks. Am I doing something wrong, or was this removed at some point?

Running Jira Server 8.20.11 and Scriptrunner 7.3.0

EDIT: I found that I was doing something wrong - there is actually a top-level / built-in option for specifically modifying this right-click context menu. When you click to Create Fragment, select the "Planning board context menu item" instead of "Custom web item".

@mukund you're welcome . Yes you will be able to add those operations.

@jamie - How sweet is that! Thank you very much!
Would this version have the ability to customise it for standard operations like 'Log work' or 'create subtask'?
