When trying to complete a sprint that has unresolved sub-tasks, instead of automatically removing these issues to the backlog Greenhopper gives error:
"Sprint cannot be completed as there are incomplete subtasks in the following issue: ..."
Workarounds:
There are two possible workarounds for this problem:
- Manually remove those from the sprint - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Removing+an+Issue+from+a+Sprint
or - Close off the subtask issue that's caught, then reopen it to put it in the next sprint
