As a scrum master, I want to be able to see all stories or defects in progress without having to expand each issue to see their subtasks

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Currently to see if a story or bug is being worked on within a sprint, I need to expand every issue and look to see if any of their subtasks are in progress. I wish Greenhopper would instead mark any parent issue as "In Progress" if any 1 of the subtasks are in progress or closed. Only parent issues with no subtasks or parent issues with all open subtasks would show in the "Open" status.

This way I could glance at the issues and quickly see which ones we should drill into - e.g. I could review all stories that have not been started at all, review stories that are in progress but not yet closed.

Likewise I'd like an option that I could turn on to automatically resolve or close the parent issue when the last sub task was closed.
