Duplicate Custom Fields created as part of a GreenHopper upgrade

      Summary

      This issue is another permutation of GHS-7984. As part of the GreenHopper upgrade, it creates duplicated managed fields and points GreenHopper configurations to the new fields. This presents with any of the following symptoms:

      • Sprints vanish.
      • Story Points no longer calculate correctly.
      • Inability to rank.

      Steps to Reproduce

      We're not entirely sure how to accurately replicate the problem. If you find anything, please let us know!

      Expected Results

      No duplicate fields are created upon upgrade.

      Actual Results

      Duplicated fields are created and break a large amount of GreenHopper functionality.

            Resolving this issue now as we haven't seen it occur for quite some time. There is a related issue around field contexts being duplicated when importing data into JIRA from an external system (using JIM). I've linked it to this issue.
