In Agile Velocity Report, The commitment is not representative of the real commitment (Story point)

If in the beginning of a sprint we commit to do 10 issues of 2 points each
Our commitment will be of 20 points
If we remove an issue for any reason in active sprint.
The points are removed from the commitment in the velocity chart.

We did commit to do those points. why are they removed?
