Board filter with ORDER BY statement that uses field which is not Rank breaks board?

From a customer on CAC:

The Feb 25 update to greenhopper broke my kanban board. I have been using a filter with "ORDER BY updated DESC, Rank ASC", and today noticed that my board was no longer ordered by rank.

I eventually figured out that filters are now required to order by rank only and nothing else, but there was no indication of this until I looked into it. It just disabled ranking automatically.

I'm getting really sick of paying to be a beta tester.
