Steps to reproduce :

Create a Sprint with issues from multiple project
Create a dashboard gadget(Filter Results) with a filter like : Sprint in openSprints()
Share the dashboard with all users
Check the dashboard by logging in with a admin user and then with a normal user. You are able to see the gadget properly.
Now delete one of the projects from the Sprint
Refresh the gadget
The gadget shows up fine for an admin user

There is an error on the gadget of a normal user :

The selected filter filter-12300 has an error: No issues are assigned to a sprint with id 22.
The selected filter filter-12300 has an error: No issues are assigned to a sprint with id 33.
The selected filter filter-12300 has an error: No issues are assigned to a sprint with id 9.
