The rapid board sprint market is just the coolest thing since sliced bread, really!

So why not release markers? The easiest way to manage which issue is in a release and which not is to have a market that indicates where the release takes place. And we could easily count points in the release.

This is exactly how we organize the backlog in Excel (we've yet been convinced of moving the backlog to greenhopper, but are hoping to do so with the new Rapid board improvements).

Why would we use a planning board for releases and the rapid board planning for sprints? The rapid board is totally capable of taking over this functionality.
