The GreenHopper Supported Platforms documentation currently lists some incorrect information for JIRA 5.2.x (and possibly others) - it has the below for JIRA 5.2.X:

Supported with GreenHopper 5.9.x and 5.10.x and 6.0.x and 6.1.x

However testing JIRA 5.2.5 and GH 5.10.6 did not work. Looking at the Atlassian Marketplace link for GreenHopper, it does have the correct version information for GreenHopper 5.10.6, and as confirmed with the devs we should go off this matrix rather than the Support Platforms docs.

Can you please modify those docs so that they advise users to check the marketplace? I was going to change it myself but wasn't sure how to make it look the best.

      Thanks!

UPDATE: following discussion with the devs, I have updated the Supported Platforms page to only include the latest major GH version. How does this look?

Thanks David, I have edited the Supported Platforms page to add a caveat re JIRA 5.2.5 / GH 5.10.6.

However, my understanding is that the Atlassian Marketplace is not updated retrospectively. For example, GH 6.0.1 is listed as only being compatible with JIRA 5.0 - 5.1.6, when in fact it is also compatible with later versions of JIRA (which hadn't yet been released at the time GH 6.0.1 was launched).

For this reason, it may be worthwhile keeping the Supported Platforms page as-is, but ensuring that we add known exceptions such as JIRA 5.2.5 / GH 5.10.6.

What are your thoughts? What am I missing?
