A request for a feature to allow multiple owners for Rapid Boards.

      Workaround

Create a shared jira user for each project team. This user's credentials are shared within the team, and then we create GH boards and jira filters with these shared users. If anyone wants to update a jira filter or GH board, they just login with the shared user and change it.

We work around this at my company by creating a shared jira user for each project team. This user's credentials are shared within the team, and then we create GH boards and jira filters with these shared users. If anyone wants to update a jira filter or GH board, they just login with the shared user and change it. Its a workaround but certainly saves the Jira admins time.

I also would like to have this feature for my users. A possible solution would be to leverage a project role to allow permission inheritance.

As Jira admin I frequently get asked to give someone permission to change things on rapid boards and have to tell them I can't. We routinely have 2 or 3 people who need to manage a rapid board - the Project Manager, the team leader and a business analyst. Rapid boards are mostly an improvement on the old scrum boards but in this respect they definitely aren't. I would like it to be possible for a user group to be given permission to administer them.

I have several users requesting this on their rapid boards. Please make this a priority.

I have received this request many times and right now I have to tell my users no and I don't know when it is coming. As it is, I have the users send in a change request ticket and as an admin and change the board ownership to the new person.

Same as Loida - I need lead dev's and project managers to be able to configure quick filters + swimlanes.

I want to be able to have multiple users have access to RapidBoard so that multiple members from a project team can:

            • create quick filters
            • create query-based swimlanes

I also want the ability to change the owner of a RapidBoard. For example, I set up a RapidBoard for one user in order to start using the tool, but would like to pass on ownership of the board to that user, or group of users.

I want to be able to have multiple owners/users with access to change a raid bord. To change owner is not a solution for me since we often are two people working as a integration team lead at my work.

We have large projects that are being implemented on our site and need to have more than one user, able to change the Configuration on the Boards.
The other option would be to allow the administrator of a project to change the Owner of the board. This would accomplish the same purpose for us.
