As a Agile Board user, I want to be able to see the reports filtered on individual team member level or based on quick filters

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

The GreenHopper Classic feature allowed for using contexts, to filter down pretty much everything. While the new Agile Boards come with the quick filter concept, these are unfortunately limited to the plan and work modes, but not the reports.

What our users need are reports (esp. the burn down chart), which can be filtered down on individual team member level, in order to leverage work load, track progress and identify road blocks. Ideally, all reports carry a configuration option like the control chart with following options:

      • Filter on 1 to many team members
      • Filter on 1 to many quick filters

This is a critical feature for enterprise customers (like us), because really the only way to do scrum of scrum in JIRA at thsi point is to have a master board for the portfolio, and then sub-boards for specific teams or products.

Which is awkward...but it works, except that the report tab doesn't allow you to use filters. If it did...you wouldn't need to use sub-boards just to get team velocity charts and stuff. JIRA wold be be very much less awkward for scrum of scrum if the reports tab supported quick filters.
