When sub-task is created using the Create Sub-Task button on the View Issue screen and Greenhopper is enabled, the parent Fix Version is set on the Sub-Task, even though the Fix Version field was blank on the Sub-Task creation.

If Greenhopper is disabled, Fix Version is not set, as expected.

      Tested using Greenhopper 6.0.3

            Hi matt.doar,
            Thanks for the suggestion!
I have created https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-11784 to update this behaviour in our documentation.
            Cheers

It may not be a bug in your view, but is the behaviour documented anywhere?

Atlassian, please consider making the inheritance configurable by project. Removing the project entirely from GreenHopper really doesn't provide a viable solution for end-users.

malmeida: Remove the project from the projects 'Enabled for GreenHopper' in the GreenHopper configuration. You should find it no longer inherits the parent fix version.

            Thanks,
            Shaun

This is expected behavior, as Sub-Tasks always inherit their parent Fix Version in GreenHopper.

We have shelved our evaluation of Greenhopper until this issue is fixed.
