When copying an existing Rapid Board in the latest release, the list of Swimlanes is reversed causing the system default of "Everything Else" to move to the top and all user-defined values to appear below. You cannot drag the user-defined values back above "Everything Else". This results in no swimlanes on the board because all issues are grouped into "Everything Else" since it's stuck as the first on the list. The only option is to delete all user-defined swimlanes and recreate them.

[JSWSERVER-5912] Swimlane list is inverted when copying an existing Rapid Board

            Reproduced on v8.20.10#820010

Workaround (adding a new swimline and moving others on top of it) didn't work initially until about 10 swimlines left.

10 years to fix a bug, really, is it serious. There are plenty tickets and complains regarding this issue ?

Also can confirm this, recently a colleague copied a board that shows a bunch of issues from different projects and the 'Everything Else' swimlane query is on top without being able to move other queries above it.

            We're running Jira 8.

Obvious to say that I'd like this to be addressed.

Can confirm this behavior in Jira Software 8.13.4
It is very common to copy boards with a template configuration in my opinion.
Please fix this bug, since it affects our clients administrative effort to mantain Jira.

            Thanks!

Can confirm this behavior in Jira Software 7.10.2. Fortunately, the workaround of adding a temp swimlane and then dragging all the other ones up works for us.

Reproduced with Jira 6.4.13. Dragging the swimlanes is possible, excepting the default one which stays on top always. A valid workaround is to switch the base swimlane to the other, for instance to Stories, then switch back to Queries. Then create a fake new swimlane. This allows dragging the previous copied swimlanes above the default one.

We can confirm this bug as well with Jira 7.9.0 server.

In contrast to this issue's description, we are able to drag the user defined swimlanes above everything else, so there is no need for us delete an recreate all of them. Might involve a swimlane-create and board-save operation before that is possible.

Hi, Any updates on this one? This issue still occur and still reproduced.

Is there an ETA about it?
