Hi,
During one of our scrums today someone suggested it would be nice to view the issues on the TASK BOARD grouped by assignee in the same way that grouping can be done by parent and sub-task (outline view).

added a comment - Just came to think about that should not this be aligned with the way it works on planning board views? It would be very benefitial to layout the task board with respect of assignee or component. Maybe even version?

added a comment - We have just finished a release review and a Assignee TaskBoard was considered to be a very desirable enhancement for balancing workloads and providing a useful way of viewing current work, especially for the scrum master / mistress.
We would be happy with a "simple" two level 
implementation of replacing the Task Parent in an "Outline" TaskBoard view with the Assignee and the assigned tasks by column (todo, in progress etc) displayed where the subtasks are now displayed. The equivelent of the "Other Issues" would be an "Unassigned". The column total and parent toals as ber GH4 Taskboard would display. I have made other optional suggestions in GHS-1625. This concept is also touched on in GHS-780.
You have a bit planned for the rest of this year, perhaps this could be looked at in the new year. I would be happy to add some more detailed stories for this if it helped.

It would enable a easy view to see if someone span to many task, or is a bottleneck and need help with the throughput. Which is a highly desired feature in my company.

Please note that while this issue has been resolved in 5.6.0 the status will let you know whether it has been Fixed, Answered, Obsolete or Won't Fix.
