As a greenhopper 6 user I want the Quick Filters available on the Rapid Board Report view (as in Plan and Work mode) so that I can view reports by filter

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

As a business we cannot move to the new rapid boards unless we have this feature so its really critical for us and blocks us from upgrading any futher.

We have 3 teams working on 1 project and from 1 backlog. So each team has a filter to show certian parts of the backlog. They will add thier stories to the sprints. The problem is each team wants to see thier own reports (as defined by filters). The story defined would seem to solve this problem.

[JSWSERVER-5644] As a greenhopper 6 user I want the Quick Filters available on the Rapid Board Report view (as in Plan and Work mode) so that I can view reports by filter

Could anyone who is still interested in and watching this issue please comment to let us know:

            • Which reports are lacking Quick Filters that you need to be able to filter?
            • How are you using Quick Filters to show subsets of the report information? (What fields are being used in the queries of the Quick Filters?)

            Thanks,
            JIRA Agile Team

kevinshine since JIRA Agile 6.3, future sprints are now visible across any boards that contains those issues. Has this helped your teams adopt multiple boards?

We implemented Shaun's suggestion to create rapid boards for every team we wanted to view. People still struggle with this and cant understand why they have to plan on one board but then report on another. The problem is the "up coming" sprints cannot be seen on the team board as they are created for all teams on another board. Its a disaster really and I wouldn't recommend this approach, but it was the only way to get what we wanted.

Our company is also waiting for this feature, and its so strange that you can filter on some reports but not others.

I don't want to say it sounds easy to fix...but there you go.

We have the exact same problem described above – multiple teams working from the same backlog. Since the Burndown Chart doesn't respect the filter view in the Planning Board, we can't use the charts to report burn-down ... big limitation! Is there any forecast for when Atlassian would implement this?

Having the same filters for the other charts that are available in the control chart would be very helpful for us as well.

            Revive.

The filters on the control chart would be what I am looking for on the burn down chart.

Our company needs also the possibility to have quick filters on the report view.

            Hi

Nope, only active sprints show up. Planned sprints are a problem.

            Hi Kevin,

The sprints should definitely show up. The board finds the sprints by first selecting the issues that match the filter then looking at their "Sprint" field to see what sprints exist. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working for you, maybe check that the issues being returned really are in the sprints you expect?

We're definitely keen to implement quick filters in reports in the future, but can't really offer a timeframe.

            Thanks,
            Shaun
