"View on Board" function doesn't work properly for closed issues

If you use the "View on Board" function it will display you all Rapid Boards where an issue can be located.
However, if that issue had been closed without being part of any sprint before, that function simply displays Plan mode but doesn't show that requested issue.
It's fine that closed issues mustn't be listed in Plan mode. However, the "View on Board" function should display the "There are no boards which contain this issue." error message instead if there's nothing to be shown in Plan mode.
