As a manager I would like to be able to "plan" by users

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      When beginning a new milestone/sprint, we find it a bit cumbersome to hand out the backlog of tasks to members of the team and retain balanced workloads. Currently we assign a few, then reload a different page to get a summary of the times assigned to each user, then flip back and assign a few more... It would be very handy if we could use something like the planning board to drag tasks to users to assign issues (like we can for fix versions) and have the assigned times tally up for the for the users on the right. Ideally we'd be able to show only the users in a specific group (or at the least, a comma separated list of explicit user names).
