Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Software Server. Using JIRA Software Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
At the moment ranking behaviour with filters on is confusing. Given a backlog of:
TST-1, TST-2, TST-3, <Marker>, TST-4, TST-5
Use Instant Filter to filter the backlog to:
<Marker>, TST-5
Drag TST-5 above the marker (to get TST-5, <Marker>) then remove the filter, you will get:
TST-1, TST-2, TST-3, TST-5, TST-4
(i.e TST-4 has somehow also been dragged over the marker). It appears that all issues up to the filtered issue also end up above the marker rather than the action counting as a re-rank of just the selected issue to be immediately below the issue that is lowest ranked above the marker.
