Release button in work mode does not respect work mode sub filter for Kanban

"Release" function in Rapid Boards not working as expected:
It appears there's a problem in applying the sub-filter defined for "Work" view, resulting in issues that no longer appear in the RB getting attached to new version, as long as they share the same status as defined for the "Done" column.
To reproduce:
1. Create new issue.
2. Drag to Done column (mapped to "Resolved" status)
3. hit the Release button --> enter details of new version and click Close.
4. note release form closes, Done column clears.
5. Hit Release button again.
Expected result: notification should show there's nothing to release.
Actual result: Release form loads up, selecting same issue that has been released in previous steps. Creating new version will create new version and attach issue created above to this new version, in addition to previous.
Note problem does not appear once released issues are moved to Closed status.
