Charts could include an estimate about the release date based on velocity and remaining story points

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      The reports/charts in GH are based on historical data, but no estimates are made based on the velocity. For example it would be nice to be able to have a rough prediction of a possible release date that is based on the remaining story points in the backlog and the velocity of the team. These projections would make it easier to keep track of the project.
