This is linked to the fact that these pages are quite expensive to produce and don't make a lot of sense being indexed anyway. We would probably like the ability to add nofollow to the links and <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOODP"> to the pages themselves (a "Discourage indexers" option?).

We are adding GreenHopper links to our robots.txt

We (jira.atlassian.com) definitely don't want those links shown for non-logged in users. Whether that should be the general case I am not sure - although I suspect it probably is.

            So, yes, please hide them.

            cheers,
            jed.

            Hi Anton,

I have added the nofollow to these links. (Issue operations - Goto XBoard)
Do you rather not see them at all if not logged?

            Cheers,

            Hey,

            Thanks for the quick response!

Would it be possible to ensure that the links to the Planning and Task boards are also not shown to non-logged in users on the View Issue page?

            Cheers,
            Anton

            Ok, So I have

            1. Added nofollow to every links forwarding to the Planning, Task and Chart boards.
            2. Changed the Condition to UserLoggedInCondition for the links in the "Browse Project" page since I dont have access to the links.
            3. Added the META TAG NOODP to the GreenHopper pages.

Now I cant reach the menu items links. I will have to look if through the web-item plugin I can set anything like the nofollow
            Any hints will be appreciated.

            Cheers,
