Use of Resolve issue Permission to scheduling issues has been broken in GreenHopper.
Test 1
- Create a new user call user1
- Associate user1 with "Schedule Issues" permission
- Make sure the "Scheduling Permission" check box is unchecked via _Agile>Tools>Configuration>General Configuration
- In the planning board, try to drag a card to other version.
Result: User1 not able to drag card. ![]()
Test 2
- Same as Test 1 but with "Scheduling Permission" check box Checked
Result: User1 able to drag card to other version. ![]()
Test 3
- Remove "Schedule Issues" permission from User1
- Associate him with "Resolve Issues" permission.
- Make sure the "Scheduling Permission" check box is unchecked via _Agile>Tools>Configuration>General Configuration
- In the planning board, try to drag a card to other version.
Result: User1 able to drag card but failed with error "Insufficient privileges!" when move to other version ![]()
Test 4
- Same as test 3 but with "Scheduling Permission" check box Checked
Result: User1 not able to drag card. ![]()
Workaround:
Enable "Scheduling Permission" and give user "Schedule Issues" permission
