This High severity DoS (Denial of Service) vulnerability was introduced in versions 10.3.8, 10.7.1, 11.0.0, and 11.1.0 of Jira Software Data Center.

This DoS (Denial of Service) vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 8.7 and a CVSS Vector of CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a resource to be unavailable for its intended users by temporarily or indefinitely disrupting services of a host connected to a network.

Atlassian recommends that Jira Software Data Center customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions:

• Jira Software Data Center 10.3: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 10.3.14

The National Vulnerability Database provides the following description for this vulnerability: React Router is a router for React. In versions 7.0.0 through 7.17.0, the manifest endpoint could be accessed via unauthenticated targeted requests that would put heavy load on the server and slow down response times. This issue is a follow up to CVE-2026-42342, and does not does not impact React Router applications using Declarative Mode (<BrowserRouter>) or Data Mode (createBrowserRouter/<RouterProvider>). This issue has been fixed in version 7.18.0.
