The release notes from Jira cloud today is a bunch of workitems (epics, stories) which carry the release version with some flexibility to add fields that need to be presented.

I think, the release notes will be more consumable (easier to understand) if you bring some structure to the presented output.

Example:

• Highlevel summary of the release described in text  (with references)
• Show Epic & underlying stories
• Epic and summary of the underlying stories
