It would be great to add the ability to set the background color of cards not only per issue type but for example per issue status. So the user could select by which issue field he would like to set the different background colors.
Per this guide it is only possible to set different background colors for different issue types and not based for example on their status. This would help to see the issues that require attention immediately based on their colors based on the required issue property (status, priority, ...).
